The cost of nail technician courses varies depending on the type of course and the course provider. If you would like to become a fully certified nail technician with professional training and experience under your belt, you need to choose a course that is fully accredited and regulated by an awarding body.
For some nail technician courses, funding is available to eligible applicants. So, even if you don’t have the money to pay for a course, you shouldn’t let that stop you from chasing your nail technician dream.
Nail Technician Course Prices
At Posh Look, we offer Level 3 Nail Technology courses that cost £3345. Funding sources are available that cover the cost of the course. If you choose to do a Nail Technology course with Posh Look, you may be eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan through JTM Ltd, a government training body.
We offer a Day Course and an Evening course that are both classroom-based and take place at our training centres. We currently have three training centres in the UK: Rawtenstall, Rochdale and Widnes. Our funded courses are regulated by an awarding body called Focus Awards, which provides Ofqual Regulated Qualifications.
Am I Eligible For An Advanced Learner Loan?
Whether you are eligible for an advanced learner loan depends on several factors including your age, nationality or residency status, and the training course and provider.
Here are the criteria you must meet to be eligible:
- You must be at least 19 years old
- The course must be a Level 3,4,5 or 6 qualification (Our nail technology courses are Level 3)
- The course must be at an approved college or training provider located in England
- You must be of UK nationality or have a “settled status”
- And you must be living in the UK and must have lived here for at least 3 years
You may also be eligible for an advanced learner loan if you are not a UK national but have lived here for more than 20 years (or over half your life). There are other circumstances in which an individual may be granted an advanced learner loan – you can read them here.
If you believe you are eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan, you can apply for the loan when you enrol on the course and the team at Posh Look will help you through the application.
You do not need to pay the loan back until after you have finished your course and are earning more than £27,295 per year.
Is The Posh Look Level 3 Nail Technology Course Right For Me?
Our Level 3 Nail Technology Course is suitable for beginners with no previous experience. It is a fast-track classroom-based course.
The Day Course takes 18 weeks and you will be expected to attend every training session, which takes place one day a week from 9:30am until 3:00pm. The Evening Course takes 22 weeks and the training sessions are one evening a week from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.
Aside from the classes, you will be expected to undertake additional work, home assessments, practice and revision in your own time. To pass the course, all necessary work must be submitted by the deadline dates and must be of a Level 3 standard. You must also achieve at least a 70% pass rate on a final exam.
You will receive access to our amazing online training platform and an experienced tutor will be on hand to help you through each module and assess your work throughout the course. Starter kits are also provided.

With the Online Learning Platform, you will be able to you can watch in-depth tutorials, recap the work you’ve learnt and track your progress. You will also need to complete a British values and safeguarding workbook throughout the course to show knowledge and understanding of these topics.
