Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology
This course is suitable for beginners and no previous experience is required to enrol on this course. Level 3 Nail Technology is perfect for those wanting to start out in the nail industry with fun practical classroom learning.

We provide students with a uniform and a starter kit which will help you with your mandatory units, the kits you receive are manicure and pedicure, gel polish, acrylic and nail art. Liquid, forms and builder gels are available to use in the classroom and we offer student discount for those wanting to purchase these products to use at home also.
You are required to buy 2x Face cloths, 2x Hand towels, 1x Pen/Notebook and 1 roll of bedroll/kitchen roll and bring into class on your first day to start manicure.
Funding
Your training provider for this course is Pathway and they offer funding via Advanced Learner Loans which is branch of Government Funding, like Student Finance. The funding is not means tested and does not affect any benefits you may be receiving. If eligible the Advanced Learner Loan will cover the cost of the course, which is £3345.00. You will not start to make repayments until you are earning in excess of £25,000. If you do start to make repayments these are taken by HMRC before you receive your salary, along with your tax and national insurance. To be eligible you need to be 19+ and hold either a valid passport or birth certificate or valid share code/visa. No other identification is accepted by Advanced Learner Loans. Alternatively, if you would prefer to pay for the course yourself, we can offer a payment plan please contact us for further information.

PHASE 1 – Application
Once you’ve decided this is the right course for you, click the ‘APPLY NOW’ button. You will be guided through your application and our enrolment team will be on hand if you need any help. During your application you will gain a deeper insight into the course, understand student and teacher expectations and explore your funding options.
PHASE 2 – START TRAINING
All students who enrol onto a classroom course will travel to their selected JTM training centre on a weekly basis for classes. PPE and social distancing will be followed in accordance with government guidelines so you can enjoy a safe educational experience. Your tutor will be on hand to help you through each module and assess your work throughout the course.
Students also gain access to our Online Learning Platform where you can watch in-depth tutorials, recap the work you’ve learnt and track your progress.
PHASE 3 – GET CERTIFIED
All students who successfully complete the course receive an official certificate which they can hang with pride. Now you’re ready to start giving professional treatments to your awaiting clients!

As all our courses are level 3 diplomas, we want to make you aware of what is expected from you when learning at this level. Undertaking our beauty and nail courses will entail both practical and theory learning, this will be delivered to you in the classroom with your experienced skills tutor.
There is an element of learning that is expected from you; this will be to practice at home what you have learnt in class each week along with completing your written assignments.
As our courses are set at a level 3 standard, we expect our learners to be able to work towards and achieve high quality skills.
Classroom
Over the duration of your course, your tutor will deliver the theory of your chosen course and all practical demonstrations of each unit.
At home
Nail Technology students will be expected to complete 7 assignments throughout their course. All our assignments are knowledge questions that you answer thoroughly using the knowledge you have been taught in class, research, and revision. All homework to be recorded in your home learning log provided.
You will be expected to complete your written assignments at home, in the following units:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
INDUCTION DAY
Once you have completed your enrolment, you will be invited into the training centre to complete an initial assessment in Maths and English and other required paperwork. This is for us to determine if you may need any additional support throughout the course. At your induction you may also complete your funding application if you haven’t already do so and ask any questions you may have about the course.
